Jeremy & Kelley Lowe

Come on in! Have yourself a cup of coffee or a cold glass of sweet tea. We want you to make yourself comfortable and get to know us a little bit while you are here…and if you are just here to find some information real fast, like when you should be getting those taters in the ground, I hope you will bookmark our site and come back to visit when you have more time.

Here, we aim to grow a community of like minded folks. We do not consider ourselves to be expert homesteaders…in fact, I really don’t think there is such a thing. Homesteading is full of surprises. Maybe your goat is doing something you’ve never seen before, or you see an insect you’ve never encountered crawling on your tomato plants. That makes you not an expert right a long with us!

There is always something new to learn…and we want to impart the things that we have learned, and hopefully, you will share what you’ve learned with us as well. And if we don’t know…we ain’t afraid to say so…but we will go and find an expert and ask them if they would be kind enough to stop in and teach us all something new!

So, if there is something you want to learn about as it pertains to any aspect of homesteading, drop us a message or an email, and we will try to get some helpful information to you!

We hope you come back to see use time and time again, and we have the opportunity to get to know you and count you as our friend.

Homesteader’s Creed

Use it up, Wear it out
Make it do...
Or do without!

Homesteading Defined…

A lifestyle of self-sufficiency and sustainability, characterized by food production and preservation, knowing or learning new skills to become less dependent on outside sources. Homesteading can be done anywhere, at any age, by anybody who wants a simpler way of life…

Inspiration

From Philippians, Chapter 4:

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”
